Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. seeks a Rope Access Team Leader to plan, lead, and control projects with emphasis on safety and client satisfaction. The role blends field rope access work with administrative duties; travel can be extensive and time away from home is common.

The candidate must meet Level III SPRAT/IRATA requirements and demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while maintaining company safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Maintains Level III rope access certification (SPRAT or IRATA).
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's and advanced degrees are assets.
• Valid driver’s license; passport or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• First-aid, CPR, and AED certifications either at hire or within 60 days.
• At least three years rope access experience; one year as Level III preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents MISTRAS in a positive, professional manner at all times.
• Provides exemplary customer service and support reflecting integrity and collaboration.
• Leads field and administrative assignments; ensures safety and quality.
• Maintains safety procedures, risk management, and JHA updates.
• Conducts daily safety meetings; informs leadership of hazards or changes.
• Leads, trains, and develops team members to meet policy standards.
• Keeps project managers and leaders informed; reports concerns promptly.
