Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Rope Access Level III Technician Team Leader in Houma, LA to plan, organize, and lead rope access projects onshore and offshore. The role emphasizes safety, client satisfaction, and team performance while aligning with company policies.

Travel is extensive; the role requires strong leadership, field collaboration, and adherence to SPRAT/IRATA Level III standards. On-site work and administrative duties are common across projects.

Qualifications

• Maintains Level III Rope Access Technician (SPRAT or IRATA).
• High school graduate or GED; bachelor's degree is asset.
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Course.
• Three years rope access experience; one year at Level III preferred.
• First-aid/CPR/AED certifications at hire or within 60 days.
• Valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain one in 90 days.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Represent MISTRAS in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Provide exemplary customer service and support reflecting integrity and teamwork.
• Lead field and administrative assignments with timely, high-quality results.
• Follow safety procedures; ensure permits, lock-out/tag-out, and JHA details are followed.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and update JHA as needed.
• Mentor and train team members to meet company standards.
• Maintain knowledge of rescue procedures and advanced techniques.
• Adhere to company policies and work instructions; complete trainings on time.
