Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a Rope Access Level I/API Inspector to support on-site inspections in the Kenner/New Orleans, LA area. You will perform visual and NDE tasks on pressure retaining equipment following API and ASME standards.

This role requires API 510/570 certification, 2+ years on-site or 5–10 years overall experience, and willingness to travel. You will submit technically accurate reports and provide recommendations for repair, re-rate or alteration to ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

• API 510/570 certification is required.
• 2+ years on-site experience or 5–10 years' overall experience in inspection.
• Knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration for safe operation.
