Relais & Châteaux’s The Wauwinet Inn on Nantucket seeks a Rooms Division Manager to oversee Front Office, Bell Services, Concierge, Housekeeping, and more, ensuring exceptional service while maximizing occupancy. Responsibilities

Job Description

White Elephant Resorts, a collection of premier hotels located on the beautiful island of Nantucket, MA is currently looking for a motivated, hands‑on individual to oversee the daily operations of the Rooms Division for our Relais & Chateaux property, The Wauwinet Inn.

The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the Front Office, Bell Services and Drivers, Concierge, Housekeeping, Beach staff and Retail in an attentive, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with exceptional service while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. This person's primary operating area is the Front Office, with oversight of front and back of house supervisory positions.

In addition to front and back of house responsibilities, the Rooms Division Manager will collaborate with the Managing Director with responsibility for rooms division budgeting, purchasing, quality control, training and standards, maintaining and/or implementing new procedures. As a key leader for The Wauwinet, they will be prepared to act on behalf of the MD in his absence.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a resort style hotel.

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible and self‑motivated. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
