Job summary

White Elephant Resorts seeks a proactive Rooms Division Manager to oversee daily operations for The Wauwinet Inn on Nantucket. You will manage Front Office, Bell Services, Concierge, Housekeeping, Beach staff and Retail, ensuring seamless service and strong guest relations.

You will collaborate with the Managing Director on budgeting, purchasing, training and standards, and may stand in for the MD when necessary. The role requires 2+ years in a similar capacity and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Rooms Division including Front Office, Bell Services, Concierge, Housekeeping, Beach staff and Retail.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director on budgeting, purchasing, quality control, training and standards; act on behalf of the MD in their absence.
• Lead inter-department communication, logistics and guest service to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Schedule and facilitate departmental training, internal and external, to maintain service excellence.
• Maintain awareness of all hotel services/features and explore opportunities for guest experiences.
• Support the Nantucket portfolio in an as-needed capacity.
