Job summary

White Elephant Resorts, located on Nantucket, MA, is seeking a motivated Rooms Division Manager to oversee daily operations of the Rooms Division at The Wauwinet Inn, including Front Office, Bell Services, Concierge, Housekeeping, Beach staff and Retail. You will collaborate with the Managing Director on budgeting, purchasing, quality control, training, and may act on the MD’s behalf in their absence.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a resort style hotel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Rooms Division across Front Office, Bell Services, Concierge, Housekeeping and Retail.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director on budgeting, purchasing, quality control and training.
• Represent MD in their absence and uphold service standards.
• Lead staff development, inter-department collaboration, and guest experience.
• Schedule departmental training and stay informed on all hotel services.
