Job summary

Columbia Hospitality seeks an Assistant General Manager for Knob Hill Inn to lead the rooms division, including housekeeping and front desk, and to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets and financials, and collaborate with community partners to uphold service standards. This role supports a people-first culture committed to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years progressive experience in a leadership role at a property of similar size and level of service.
• Working knowledge of all applicable laws, codes and regulations.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to write contracts, reports, business correspondence, and operations manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rooms division at the hotel, including housekeeping and front desk.
• Select, supervise, train, develop, schedule, and counsel staff.
• Partner with General Manager to engage community organizations and public relations entities.
• Manage annual operating budget and financial plans to support property objectives.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive improvements in service and operations.
• Act as People & Culture representative for the property and manage recruitment processes.
