Loews Hotels & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Rooms Controller in Arlington to manage daily room assignments, guest preferences, and front office operations. You’ll connect departments to deliver a seamless guest experience and support VIP requests.

The role requires strong organization, proactive problem solving, and the ability to work independently or in teams. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front office or reservations experience in a hotel.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (Opera, Delphi) or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive responsibilities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk and reservations tasks to ensure smooth check-ins and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness.
• Pre-block VIP and special requests using arrival reports and group information.
• Review and resolve duplicate reservations, no-shows, and due-outs daily.
• Monitor and update room statuses and manage special room arrangements as needed.
• Communicate guest preferences and group requirements clearly to operations teams.
• Assist with high-traffic periods and guest service support as needed.
