Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Room Service Supervisor to oversee room service operations on-site, ensuring high service levels and guest satisfaction. The role involves coaching staff, managing inventories, and maintaining compliance with liquor and safety regulations.

The supervisor will lead by example, train associates, and coordinate with F&B to deliver seamless service while upholding HHM’s sustainability and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service experience required, preferably in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, and coach associates to brand/hotel standards and HHM core values.
• Ensure inventory of food, beverage and supplies meets budget and cost requirements.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and corporate liquor requirements for serving alcohol.
• Respond to customer needs, issues and problems to ensure a quality guest experience.
• Manage product quality and guest satisfaction, resolving issues as needed.
• Set up and deliver food and beverage orders.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Service hospitality suites per banquet event orders and policies.
• Complete shift side work per the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.
• Perform cash handling in accordance with company policies.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits per MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage and monitor product quality, service and guest satisfaction, resolving any issues accordingly.
• Set up and deliver food and beverage orders.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment and Context

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
