Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Take room service orders over the phone.
• Answer questions on menu selections, and check with kitchen staff.
• Place and log call back for room service order.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Record transactions in Digital Dining; complete closing reports; process payments.
• Follow safety policies; report incidents; complete safety training.
• Ensure uniform and professional appearance; protect company assets.
• Acknowledge guests; anticipate service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; show appreciation.
• Speak clearly and professionally; answer telephones with proper etiquette.
• Build positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Adhere to quality standards; stand/sit/walk for extended periods.
• Move/lift/carry/pull objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors
