Job summary

The Westin New York Grand Central, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a dedicated Room Service Associate to ensure a positive guest experience by delivering all food and beverage orders with care. You will uphold sanitation standards and deliver VIP amenities, working closely with hotel teams to meet guest expectations.

Ideal candidates communicate well, handle cash responsibly, and can lift/move items up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs on a cart with or without accommodations.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Effective verbal and written communication; adaptable to diverse audiences; hourly rate $17.66-$23.55

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per guidelines.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Service hospitality suites following Banquet Event Orders and policies.
• Complete shift side work per hotel operating policies.
• Respond to guest needs and report to shift supervisor.
• Perform cash handling in line with company policies.
• Attend on a regular basis and be available as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
