Job summary

Grand Hyatt Nashville is seeking a friendly Room Service Server to deliver in-room dining with prompt, courteous service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless stay.

You will answer phones, relay orders, present meals, and maintain room service stations with attention to detail. Previous guest service experience and a high school diploma are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous guest services or food service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the room service phone within three rings and take guest orders accurately.
• Relay orders promptly to the kitchen and/or bar for preparation.
• Arrange meals on trays with presentation, sanitation, and timeliness.
• Deliver orders to guest rooms with professional etiquette and service standards.
• Replenish linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes at the room service station.
• Collect trays from guest rooms and assist guests with item removal as needed.
• Complete side work assigned by management to support operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future

• Answer the room service phone within three rings, provide menu information, and take guest orders accurately.
• Relay orders promptly to the kitchen and/or bar for preparation.
• Arrange meals on trays with attention to presentation, sanitation, and timeliness.
• Deliver orders to guest rooms, ensuring professional etiquette and service standards.
• Replenish supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes at the room service station.
• Collect trays from guest rooms and hallways promptly, assisting guests with the removal of items as needed.
• Complete side work assigned by management to support smooth department operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $6.00/hour + Tips
