Job summary

The Meridian Restaurant and Bar at Headlands Coastal Lodge in Oregon is hiring a Part-time Room Service Attendant to deliver meals to guests and contribute to a memorable coastal experience.

You will take orders, recommend menu items, operate the POS, and ensure cleanliness and friendly service in a hospitality-focused environment at Noble House Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Must have 21 years of age or older.
• Prior food service experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
• Obtain a Food Handler’s Card and OLCC Permit.
• Must have professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive food and beverage orders and make recommendations from the Meridian menu.
• Deliver trays to guest rooms in a timely manner and handle billing and gratuities.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and act as a team player with Headlands employees.
• Operate the POS for order placement and payment; perform opening/closing duties.

A day in the life…

As a Room Service Attendant, you will be providing Headlands Coastal Lodge guests, the extraordinary coastal experience of being able to enjoy Meridian’s food and drinks in the comfort of their rooms or cottages. Directly interacting with customers to help create memorable experiences.

Key Accountabilities:

Room Service Attendant

• Receive food and beverage orders while making recommendations from knowledge of the Meridian menu.
• Participates in the assembly of trays to meet guests’ requests. Deliver food and beverage orders.
• Delivers trays to guest rooms in a timely manner.
• Properly handle billing, gratuities, and other financial matters related to each guest.
• Maintain assigned and specific side work to ensure dining room cleanliness.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate the POS for order placement and receipt of payment.
• Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Ensure meeting all compliance with Headlands and Meridian Policies, and the Health Department and OLCC Laws.
• Perform other duties as requested and instructed by the restaurant manager
• Work and act as a team player in all interactions with the Headland's Employees.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, and lift to 50 pounds.

• Develop and maintain collaborative and respectful working relationships with team members and others.

$15.55 per hour plus tips
