Meridian Restaurant and Bar, located inside Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa in Pacific City, Oregon, invites you to join a warm, world-class hospitality team delivering Northwest coastal cuisine with genuine Oregon charm.

As a greeter or server assistant you’ll help manage the dining room flow, assist servers and bartenders, greet guests, and ensure a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Card and OLCC Permit required.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage table setting and guest requests to ensure smooth service.
• Prepare dining room for guests—clean tables, set decorations, condiments, napkins, and utensils.
• Bus, reset tables, and greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to meet guest needs.

A day in the life...

As a greeter or server assistant you will be directly responsible for the overall flow of the restaurant. Directly interacting with customers to help create memorable experiences. Working with servers, bartenders, and the management team to help meet the needs of all our guests.

Key Accountabilities:

• Monitor and maintain table setting by removing dishes as they are completed, replenish drinks and utensils, and attend to guest requests.


• Prepare dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables; set decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates and utensils.


• Bus, cleans, and resets tables.


• Greet guests and answer any questions in a friendly manner.


• Work and act as a team player in all the interactions with the headlands Employees.

Requirements

You own this if you have…

• Must have prior food service experience, preferable in a fine dining establishment.


• Obtain a Food Handler’s Card and O.L.C.C. Permit.


• Must have professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.


• Speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.


• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, and lift to 50 pounds.
