Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Room Service Ambassador to support hospital food service operations. The role involves cleaning, serving in retail and patient areas, food preparation, assembling trays, transporting food and supplies, and dish/ware washing.

You will ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation in accordance with federal and state guidelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), and Servesafe/Food Handler certification or local license

• Previous customer service or food industry experience preferred.

Food Service Workers perform a variety of kitchen and related food service tasks such as cleaning, serving in retail and pateint areas, food preparation, assembling trays, transporting food and supplies, dish and ware washing. They are responsible for maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation according to federal and state guidelines. Adheres to hospital policies for information management insuring confidentiality, security, and integrity of data. Ensures compliance with all laws, regulations, and guidelines of federal and state regulatory agencies.

• Servesafe Food Handlers certificate or local Health Department license preferred.
