Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Room Inspector to ensure lodging is clean, orderly, and attractive. You will train and coach housekeeping staff and oversee compliance with OSHA, SOPs, and quality standards.

You’ll partner with management to enforce uniform appearance and safety while performing room-attendant duties during busy periods. This role emphasizes training, inspections, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience with property mgmt systems (SMS/Workday) and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trains and coaches housekeeping staff in conjunction with the Manager of Housekeeping.
• Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the establishment.
• Documents inspection results to hold cleaners accountable and guide retraining.
• Investigates and improves cleaning instruments and methods.
• Communicates owner/guest requests with Front Desk and coordinates room moves.
