Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Room Inspector to oversee housekeeping quality and training across core, regular, seasonal, and part-time staff. You will enforce standards, supervise cleaners, and coordinate with the Front Desk on guest requests and room moves.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience in housekeeping or supervision, with familiarity in Springer-Miller SMS and Microsoft Office preferred. Flexible for seasonal needs at a mountain resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in housekeeping or hotel operations preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with PMS (Springer-Miller SMS) and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Mountain resort lodging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trains and coaches housekeeping staff in conjunction with supervisors.
• Demonstrates standards and procedures for staff to follow.
• Inspects physical condition of the establishment and documents findings.
• Inventorys supplies and orders equipment as required.
• Communicates with Front Desk regarding guest requests and room moves.
• Ensures staff follow uniform and appearance policies.
• Occasionally works as a room attendant to clean units.
• Performs off-season deep cleaning duties as needed.
