Job summary

Winter Park Resort in Colorado seeks a Room Inspector to oversee housekeeping quality and training, ensuring clean, orderly rooms in line with company policies and health codes. You will coach staff, inspect facilities, coordinate with Front Desk, manage supplies, and assist as a room attendant during busy periods, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong integrity, organizational skills, and prior supervisor experience in a resort setting, plus familiarity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience at a Mountain Resort Lodging Property preferred.
• Experience with Spring MMiller SMS, Workday and MS Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trains and coaches housekeeping staff under the Manager of Housekeeping.
• Ensures staff have the skills, tools, and knowledge required to perform their jobs.
• Demonstrates standards and procedures including OSHA standards and SOPs.
• Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the establishment and documents inspections.
• Investigates and improves new cleaning instruments and methods.
• Manages inventory of supplies and equipment and orders as required.
• Maintains a safe employee and guest environment and communicates with Front Desk.
• Ensures compliance with uniform and appearance policies and takes corrective action.
• Works as a room attendant to clean units when needed and handles off-season duties.
