Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to established standards. You will greet guests warmly, change linens, replenish amenities, and ensure overall guest comfort.

English communication is required, with prior housekeeping experience or equivalent training. Shifts may include weekends and holidays, and we offer competitive wages and benefits including health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Must understand and communicate in English.
• Experience in housekeeping or equivalent training is required.
• HS diploma preferred but not required with equal training taken into account.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and assist as needed.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within designated time frames.
• Change bed linens and towels, replenish amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures, housekeeping surfaces.
• Report repairs to management and coordinate with maintenance.
• Handle lost-and-found items per policy.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Perform additional duties during peak periods or when short-staffed.
• Contribute to high guest satisfaction scores and department goals.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.
