Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Room Attendant to keep guest rooms and public spaces spotless, refreshed, and welcoming. You’ll work closely with Housekeeping leadership and other hotel teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

This role rewards reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to guest needs, safety, and sanitation. Mornings, weekends, and holidays availability are appreciated to support operations and guest

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, cleaning, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, hallways, and assigned hotel areas according to hotel brand standards and operational procedures.
• Replace linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies while ensuring rooms are refreshed, organized, and guest-ready.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, maintenance concerns, and operational readiness throughout shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage closets, linen areas, and operational workspaces.
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, safety concerns, and room status updates promptly and accurately.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and housekeeping service needs throughout the day.
• Follow sanitation standards, chemical handling procedures, hotel safety policies, and operational guidelines at all times.
• Support deep cleaning projects, room inspections, VIP arrivals, and special housekeeping assignments as needed.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping leadership, Front Office, Laundry, and Engineering teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Help create clean, welcoming, and comfortable spaces that deliver memorable guest experiences aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.
