Job summary

Residence Inn near Universal is seeking a dynamic Housekeeper/Room Attendant managed by StepStone Hospitality. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills and can multi-task in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Experience is preferred but not required; candidates should be able to follow safety procedures and housekeeping policies while maintaining high quality room cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Report to Housekeeping Office at beginning of shift and sign out keys.
• Clean and maintain assigned rooms and suites daily (beds, baths, vacuum, dust, lights, TV, stock supplies).
• Report missing items from rooms and suites.
• Report repairs to supervisor and maintain equipment.
• Ensure guest safety and be courteous to guests and co-workers; keep doors closed during cleaning.
• Take lost and found items to housekeeping office promptly.

The Residence Inn near Universal is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Housekeeper/Room Attendant at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills, a strong proficiency in multi-tasking. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

The responsibilities of the Housekeeper include but are not limited to:

• Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
• Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies.
• Report any items missing from rooms and suites.
• Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
• Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers. Keep all doors closed when cleaning for safety and security purposes.
• All lost and found are to be taken to the housekeeping office as soon as they are found.

Requirements

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
