Job summary

Spire Hospitality, LLC is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Associate for Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown. You will maintain clean guest areas, restock supplies, and support team efforts to deliver outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced downtown hotel.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and CPR/First Aid certification is necessary. This role offers steady shifts, hotel benefits, and opportunities to grow within our nationwide

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by promptly addressing guest requests with genuine engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Uphold cleanliness standards by maintaining guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas.
• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies to support Room Attendants.
• Assist during peak occupancy by removing soiled linens and trash from corridors and carts.
• Perform deep cleaning in guestrooms and assist with preventative maintenance.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide exceptional service to our guests by promptly addressing their requests with genuine engagement and thoughtfulness, ensuring their complete satisfaction
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness by meticulously maintaining guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas
• Ensure every detail is attended to by stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies to support our dedicated Room Attendants
• Support our team's commitment to excellence by swiftly removing soiled linens and trash from guest floor corridors and carts, providing crucial assistance during peak occupancy periods
• Perform deep cleaning activities in guestrooms alongside preventative maintenance tasks

Physical Demands

• Lift, carry, push, or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs
• Extend arms overhead, scrub, bend, and stoop for extended periods and work in confined spaces

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• CPR/ First Aid Certification required
