Overview

Provide excellent cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas with pride and professionalism. Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clean bathrooms, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
2. Follow cleaning procedures and instructions for cleaning agents.
3. Strip and make beds, changing linens, with lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
4. Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges thoroughly.
5. Vacuum rooms and empty trash receptacles.
6. Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
7. Sign for room keys, assign rooms, restock carts, and inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance.
8. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms overhead, and work in confined spaces.
2. Willingness to assist co-workers and be a team player.
3. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
4. Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodations.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Adapt communication style to various audiences.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $15.20

Note: Not eligible for tips or performance bonuses.
