Job Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
• Assist with luggage and handle 'Lost and Found' items following hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as required.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Store hotel equipment appropriately and complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in a hotel or related field is a plus.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
