The Hilton Americas-Houston (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/houcvhh-hilton-americas-houston/) is seeking to hire a Uniform Room Attendant to join their Laundry Team!

Located in downtown Houston, this 1,207-room hotel is connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center via skywalk and is adjacent to Discovery Green Park and Toyota Center, home of the NBA's Houston Rockets.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and distributing clean, pressed uniforms for hotel team members. Additionally, you will support laundry operations and provide sewing and similar services to support guest service and profitability.

Shift

Flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$15.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Uniform Room Attendant, responsibilities include:

• Receiving, recording, storing, and distributing uniforms
• Washing and ironing uniforms and guest clothing
• Arranging dry cleaning and laundry processing
• Providing laundry, pressing, sewing, and similar services
• Pressing shower curtains and banquet table skirting
• Delivering guest requests for towels and items
• Performing Room Attendant duties as needed
• Maintaining linen room and uniform store
• Following hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation

What are we looking for?

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred capabilities:

• Seamstress/tailor experience
• Hospitality experience
