Job summary

Embassy Suites Brunswick is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and supply in guest rooms and suites. You will follow hotel standards to ensure comfort and a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include daily room cleaning, laundry duties, and assisting guests with hotel services. This role offers benefits and flexible scheduling within a hospitality environment in Brunswick, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred or required.
• Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, polishing floors and furniture.
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items.
• Making beds.
• Removing used amenities and replacing guest room items as needed.
• Providing information to guests about hotel services and amenities.
• Reporting room maintenance items to supervisor.

As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms/suites according to the standards established by the hotel.

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, brushing and polishing floors and furniture in the rooms
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items
• Making beds
• Removing used and replacing guest room amenities as necessary
• Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other available amenities
• Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training
• Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words
• Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Basic math skills
