Job summary

Embassy Suites Brunswick is seeking a Room Attendant to join our team. You will clean and stock assigned guest rooms/suites following hotel standards and help ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

Role focuses on daily cleaning tasks, attention to detail, and providing information about hotel services. Flexible scheduling and team collaboration are valued in our housekeeping department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words.
• Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, polishing furnishings.
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items.
• Making beds.
• Removing used amenities and replacing them as necessary.
• Providing information to guests about hotel services and facilities.
• Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor.

As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms/suites according to the standards established by the hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, brushing and polishing floors and furniture in the rooms
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items
• Making beds
• Removing used and replacing guest room amenities as necessary
• Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other available amenities
• Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training
