Job summary

The Radical Hotel in Asheville's River Arts District seeks a Housekeeping Room Attendant to uphold Hilton standards and create welcoming spaces. You will clean guest rooms, restock supplies, and collaborate with front desk and maintenance to prepare rooms for arriving guests.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to Hilton and hotel quality standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect rooms to ensure every detail is guest-ready.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized supply areas.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel cleanliness procedures.
• Respect guest privacy while working efficiently and professionally.
• Work closely with the Front Desk and Engineering teams to prepare rooms for arriving guests.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you'll help ensure every guest room reflects the high standards and distinctive character of The Radical Hotel.

Qualifications

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathroom
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.

• Lifting fifty (50) pounds maximum.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
