Zelda Dearest Hotel in Asheville, NC is seeking dependable Housekeeping Room Attendants to maintain rooms and public spaces to our high standards. You will clean, restock, and sanitize to ensure an exceptional guest experience in a boutique setting.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to the highest quality standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish towels and amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and maintain guest rooms and assigned public areas.
• Report maintenance concerns and damaged items promptly.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized supply areas.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel cleanliness standards.
• Respect guest privacy while working efficiently and professionally.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Work closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams to prepare rooms for arriving guests.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathroom
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.

• Lifting fifty (50) pounds maximum.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
