Job summary

Headsup in the United States is seeking a Solar Rooftop Engineer to lead rooftop solar site visits, installation, testing, commissioning, and customer coordination on residential and commercial projects.

You will conduct site surveys, assess feasibility, install panels, mounting structures, inverters and wiring, perform DC/AC connections and earthing, test systems, troubleshoot, and ensure safety and quality standards while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• Experience in Rooftop Solar Installation / Solar EPC preferred.
• Good knowledge of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, DC/AC cabling, and earthing.
• Hands-on experience in solar installation and commissioning.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits and installation work.
• Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer visits and rooftop site surveys.
• Assess site feasibility and solar installation requirements.
• Install rooftop solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, wiring, and related equipment.
• Perform DC/AC electrical connections, earthing, and basic electrical work.
• Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of rooftop solar systems.
• Coordinate with customers during installation and project completion.
• Travel to customer locations for installation and service requirements.
