Job summary

Colite Technologies seeks an experienced electrician to install electrical equipment for commercial rooftop solar projects across the Southeast. Frequent travel is required; duties include wiring, conduit, mounting, commissioning and utility interconnection.

The role requires NEC/OSHA knowledge, solar PV experience (Art. 690/705), and leadership to guide crews and ensure quality and safety on site. A Master Electrician or Journeyman license is preferred, NABCEP a plus.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Ability to test voltages from 10V–1000V DC / 120V–480V AC.
  • Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).
  • Experience with solar PV systems and interconnection procedures (Art. 690/705).
  • Strong documentation, prioritization and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical equipment, cables, panels and conduit for commercial rooftop solar systems.
  • Tie solar system to utility interconnection.
  • Review BOM at loading dock to ensure crew readiness.
  • Act as primary site contact with customers, authorities and host utilities.
  • Direct daily activities of crew and oversee work quality.
  • Lead, train and delegate tasks to crew in the lead's absence.
  • Drive continuous improvement to meet schedule, quality and safety.
