Job summary

SRS Building Products - Vancouver is seeking a forklift/material handler to load, unload, and move roofing materials at the Vancouver, WA location. You will work with drivers and frontline crews outdoors on rooftops, following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, operate safety equipment, and pass background checks/drug test. English communication is essential; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• OSHA guidelines knowledge and PPE usage compliance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from trucks.
• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA rules.
• Distribute materials onto roofs per safety procedures.
• Operate conveyor systems if trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide excellent service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate with drivers for efficient loading.
• Work with team to ensure timely deliveries.
