SRS Building Products, part of SRS Distribution Inc., seeks a detail-oriented material handler for North Charleston, SC. You will load and unload roofing materials from trucks, transport them to rooftops, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires physical effort, operating equipment, and coordination with drivers. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug test will be conducted.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English (Spanish a plus).
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and PPE usage.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Distribute materials onto rooftops per safety rules.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders accurately.
• Provide excellent service to roofing contractors.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and company protocols.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and teammates.
