Job summary

SRS Building Products - Mentor is seeking a Material Handler to load/unload roofing materials from trucks and move them to rooftops while following OSHA standards and safety protocols. You will work with drivers and team members to ensure efficient loading and unloading on varied roof surfaces.

Responsibilities include operating conveyor systems where trained, verifying orders, and providing excellent service to roofing contractors. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Distribute materials onto roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers.
