Job summary

SRS Building Products - Mentor, OH is seeking a dedicated team member to handle loading, unloading, and transport of roofing materials on residential and commercial rooftops. You will balance safety with efficiency while coordinating with drivers and crews to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a High School diploma, good English communication, and the ability to work outdoors at heights. Forklift certification is preferred, with potential overtime based on schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate eligible conveyor belt systems to transport materials to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members to optimize loading/unloading processes.
