Job summary

SRS Building Products - Wooster is seeking a Rooftop Loader to load, unload, and transport roofing materials to rooftops, using conveyors and manual methods with careful handling to avoid damage.

The role requires adherence to OSHA safety rules, coordination with drivers, and ability to travel locally to customer sites. Prior forklift experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and efficiency on job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs regularly and work at heights.
• Able to read and follow work/shipping orders accurately.
• Good English communication and safety awareness required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Follow safety guidelines, assemble scaffolding, inspect equipment and report issues.
• Transport materials to rooftops with conveyors where trained, meeting timelines.
• Verify orders, document inventory movements, and assist drivers as needed.
• Provide excellent service to contractors and maintain property safety.
