Job summary

SRS Building Products in Eugene is seeking a hands-on material handler to load and unload roofing supplies at residential and commercial sites, including rooftop work. You will ensure safety compliance, verify orders, and help contractors with timely material delivery.

Candidates should lift up to 100 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and have OSHA awareness. Forklift certification is preferred, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maintain balance on roofs.
• Must pass criminal and driving background checks and pre-employment drug test.
• English communication required; Spanish is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Available Monday–Friday with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and team.
