Job summary

SRS Building Products in Sparks, NV seeks a Roofer Materials Handler to load, unload, and position roofing materials from delivery trucks onto rooftops, upholding safety and customer service standards. This full‑time role requires strength to lift up to 100 lbs, comfort working at heights, and strict PPE use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensuring that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems (where trained and certified) to transport materials from trucks to rooftops.
• Accurately verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
• Work closely with drivers and other team members to optimize loading/unloading processes.
