Job summary

The Ben West Palm and Spruzzo Rooftop, part of Sage Hospitality Group, seek a Rooftop Server to deliver warm, confident hospitality at a high-energy rooftop setting. You guide guests through their visit, ensuring seamless service from greeting to farewell and contributing to a refined, memorable experience.

You will read the rhythm of the rooftop, manage multiple tables with precision, and coordinate with kitchen, bar, and management to maintain pace, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years in fine-dining or upscale high-volume service.
• Demonstrated wine service expertise.
• Strong communication, sales and upsell skills; ability to manage multiple tables under pressure.
• Professional appearance, reliable attendance and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provided attentive, anticipatory table service from guest greeting through check presentation and departure.
• Executed full-service standards, including menu knowledge, timing, plate presentation checks, and service recovery.
• Presented and recommended wine pairings and beverage selections with tasting notes.
• Entered orders, managed guest checks, and processed payments using POS systems.
• Maintained polished service stations and dining areas while completing side work and closing duties.
• Collaborated with kitchen, bar, host and management during peak service to maintain efficiency and guest experience.
• Uphold sanitation, food safety and age-verification protocols.
