Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high-energy bar environment. You will greet guests, pour drinks, manage orders in the POS, and uphold standards of service and cleanliness.

We value passion for personalized service, knowledge of wines and spirits, and reliable evening/weekend availability. The role is hourly and based on property, with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartending experience preferred.
• Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of credit card and cash handling procedures and accurate tip-out sheets.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and promptly serve food and beverages.
• Pour drinks according to specifications and enter orders in POS with accuracy.
• Serve food and drinks and assist servers as needed.
• Notify a manager if a guest is intoxicated or rude to others.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar; keep area clean and organized.
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications and maintain communications with team.
