Job summary

Westlake is seeking a high-energy Territory Sales Manager to drive sales of concrete and clay roofing products within the Nebraska Territory, with an emphasis on Omaha, NE. You will develop consultative relationships with roofing contractors, distributors, builders, and multi-family developers to expand market share.

The role requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills, plus the ability to travel and manage multiple projects while meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish).
• Direct sales experience preferred; building product sales experience preferred.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, detail oriented.
• An enthusiastic, self-starter with good interpersonal skills.
• Requires the consultative mind-set, solution-oriented method of selling.
• Working knowledge of MS office suite including teams and outlook 365.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP or other deal desk systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with existing customers.
• Sell Westlake Royal Building Products’ concrete and clay roofing products to achieve targets.
• Work with architects and designers so products are specified in planning documents.
• Interpret data from lead generation and market data.
• Drive product performance to increase market share and sales.
• Develop territory plans to meet business goals.
• Maintain positive customer relations through regular meetings.
• Build rapport with key decision makers.
• Attend local building and roofing trade shows.
• Provide information on marketing opportunities and competitive products.
• Recommend changes to capitalize on competitors.
• Operate territory within expense budget.
• Manage customer complaints per policy.
• Coordinate with accounting to keep AR current.
• Provide technical advice to customers.
• Distribute technical literature.
• Arrange demonstrations and training sessions.
• Submit written and electronic sales reports and forecasts.
• Participate in training programs and product direction.
• Manage customer database to match needs with products.
