Job summary

EDCO Products, headquartered in Hopkins, Minnesota, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support distributors, contractors, and internal teams with proactive outreach, quoting, and CRM updates. You will qualify leads, prepare roofing and siding quotes, and coordinate product education to drive sales growth.

Work closely with the Regional Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, manage inquiries, and document activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, lead generation, estimating, construction products, building materials, or a related role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, understand their needs, and provide clear and concise responses.
• Strong product knowledge, or the ability and willingness to quickly develop product knowledge, including EDCO's siding, roofing, soffit, rainware, and related exterior building material solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive sales support within assigned region(s) by calling distributors, contractors, and prospective customers to generate interest, strengthen brand awareness, and identify new sales opportunities.
• Set up meetings, appointments, product education sessions, and training to support customer engagement and help drive sales growth in assigned territories.
• Manage and qualify incoming leads from website, phone, tradeshow, email, and other sources using the established lead qualification cadence; track lead status, document activity, coordinate sample orders, and provide warm handoffs to the appropriate Regional Manager or Business Development Manager.
• Assist in qualifying leads and identifying customer needs by effectively communicating with distributors, contractors, suppliers, and homeowner inquiries, providing appropriate support or routing requests to the correct internal team member.
• Complete and revise roofing and siding takeoffs, material lists, estimates, and quotes using Blueprint, HOVER, EagleView, Roofer, supplied customer lists, and other tools; ensuring estimates are accurate, documented, and include appropriate field verification language.
• Track and report on sales metrics, lead progress, and quote activity to provide transparency and feedback for continuous improvement.
