Job summary

Venture Home Solar is seeking an experienced Roofing Operations Manager to lead and support roofing aspects of residential solar operations. This role partners with Sales, Operations, Project Management, and Customer Experience to ensure proper roof evaluations, successful projects, and clear guidance for customers.

The candidate will grow roofing revenue by equipping the Sales team with technical expertise, overseeing installations, and addressing roofing risks.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in residential roofing, construction operations, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, materials, installation practices, and warranties.
Experience managing roofing installations, subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and quality-control processes.
Ability to evaluate roof condition and determine repair, replacement, or additional inspection requirements.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical findings to diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary subject-matter expert on residential roofing systems and installations.
Partner with Sales to evaluate roofing opportunities and provide technical guidance.
Assist with complex customer conversations, proposals, pricing questions, and roofing recommendations.
Coordinate roofing projects from assessment through installation and completion.
Monitor installation quality, safety, and compliance with codes and standards.
Maintain records of inspections, decisions, and customer communications.
Develop and manage network of roofing contractors and suppliers.
