Job summary

Solar Landscape is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Operations team and oversee on-site execution of commercial solar projects. You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, field teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across sites.

The role emphasizes safety inspections, plan sequencing, and managing self-performed work and labor budgets. You will visit sites, document progress, and drive projects to completion while maintaining high standards and clear

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on solar commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of rooftop installations.
• Knowledge of ground-mount and carport PV construction means and methods.
• Understanding of behind-the-meter and utility interconnections.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with safety training (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.
• Ability to climb ladders and access building roofs.
• Experience with Microsoft-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, field labor and vendors on site to coordinate activities and ensure project goals are met.
• Visit sites regularly during construction and attend status and coordination meetings.
• Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process.
• Plan sequencing, crew sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor spend for self-performed work.
• Execute work and track actual results, adjusting forecasts to reflect production.
