Wasatch Heat Cable is seeking a dedicated outdoor enthusiast to join our innovative team in Utah. The role involves installing roof and gutter ice melt systems and providing exceptional customer service onsite.

You will diagnose issues, test systems, and train other technicians to maintain high standards. Applicants should have experience in residential and light commercial trades (roofing, framing, solar, construction, or electrical installation) and strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and light commercial trades.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to learn standard installation processes for a new industry.
• Strong knowledge of NEC electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Installation: Plan layouts for and install roof and gutter ice melt systems.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems in existing systems.
• Testing: Conduct inspections of systems and electrical control devices.
• Training: Train other technicians for premium job performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Plan layouts for and install several different roof and gutter ice melt systems
• Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems in existing roof and gutter ice-melt systems, improving the overall system as needed.
• Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of roof and gutter ice melt systems and electrical control devices.
• Training: Train other technicians for premium job performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential and light commercial trades of Roofing, Framing, Solar Panel, Construction, or Electrical installation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Teachability - learn the standard installation processes and procedures for a unique and growing industry
• Strong understanding of electrical codes (NEC)

Pay is commensurate with the candidate's training, licenses, and experience.
