Job summary

Aspen Contracting is seeking an experienced Outside Sales professional for roofing and exterior restoration in the Des Moines market. Based out of Clive, IA, you will travel to local appointments and manage the full lifecycle from initial contact to project completion.

You will leverage your roofing expertise to assess homeowner needs, present tailored solutions, and close opportunities while building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous roofing or exterior restoration sales experience required.
• Experience with residential roofing and/or exterior restoration strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting property inspections is preferred.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline from lead through close.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to assess roofing and exterior restoration needs.
• Conduct property inspections and identify potential project opportunities.
• Build relationships with homeowners and establish trust throughout the sales process.
• Present roofing and exterior restoration solutions based on customer needs.
• Explain project recommendations, scope, and next steps clearly and professionally.
• Manage the customer relationship from initial appointment through project completion.
• Prospect, follow up, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Handle customer questions and objections using your industry knowledge and sales experience.
• Ask for the sale and confidently move qualified opportunities forward.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout their projects.
• Use company-provided technology and tools to document customer and project information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support a successful customer experience.
