Tecta America Commercial Roofing is seeking an Estimator to prepare cost estimates for roofing projects and services, bid to contractors and private clients, and track bids from pre-bid to handoff. The role includes document control and cross-functional support.

The position requires roofing knowledge or training, strong math skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license. Travel 10–20% of the time is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong math aptitude.
• Jobsite visits are mandatory for this position.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to climb ladders repeatedly.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cost estimates for roofing projects and services.
• Submit bids to contractors and private clients.
• Solicit bids and track the number of bids sent, including revenue and margins.
• Document estimates by cost codes, scope of work, man hours, and related data.
• Assist in project management when needed.
• Draft letters to General Contractors and clients.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers, and subcontractors on estimates.
