Job summary

Tecta America New England is seeking an Estimator to provide commercial roofing estimating services, attend pre-bid walkthroughs, and prepare detailed proposals. You will work closely with the sales team and project management to ensure proposals are accurate and competitively priced.

This onsite role is based at one of our MA locations in North Billerica or Brockton, with opportunities to collaborate across departments and grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field (preferred or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Ability to read/interpret architectural drawings and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, modified, built-up).
• Experience with The Edge estimating software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating duties including pricing and change orders; obtain competitive pricing from vendors.
• Conduct onsite inspections to assess roofing conditions and estimate project costs.
• Collaborate with sales team to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and job meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to develop new business.
• Coordinate with Service and Production on job specifics for seamless execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
