Tecta America New England, a leading commercial roofing contractor, seeks an Estimator to deliver accurate cost estimates and persuasive proposals. The role involves pre-bid walkthroughs, coordinating with sales and project management, and ensuring competitive pricing.

Onsite work at our North Billerica MA, Brockton MA locations with occasional travel. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of roofing estimating experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Commercial roofing estimating experience, 3-5 years.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of TPO, modified and built up systems.
• Experience with The Edge estimating software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all estimating duties including pricing and change orders, securing competitive pricing from vendors.
• Conduct onsite inspections to assess roofing conditions and analyze plans to estimate project costs.
• Collaborate with sales team to ensure proposals are accurate and competitive.
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and job meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to develop new business.
• Collaborate with Service and Production on job specifics to ensure seamless project execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
