Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing is seeking an Estimator in the United States Texas area (Lubbock) to prepare cost estimates for roofing projects and services and submit bids to contractors and private clients.

The role involves soliciting bids, tracking bid activity, and ensuring accurate documentation by cost codes, scope of work, and man hours. Travel and cross-training into Project Management are included.

Qualifications

• Roofing and/or construction experience is preferable, but not necessary as training will be provided.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as strong math aptitude.
• Jobsite visits are a mandatory part of this position
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to climb ladders on a repetitive basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for roofing projects and submit bids to contractors and private clients.
• Solicit projects to bid and track number of bids sent, including revenue and contract margin.
• Hand off documentation including estimate by cost codes, scope of work, man hours, and all information as defined by handout sheet.
• Cross-trained and assist in Project Management.
